Most agency owners I talk to (over 200 at this point) think itās ridiculous how many interviews and how much time it takes to make just one good hire.
Thatās why we designed the Go Carpathian hiring process to take as little as one hour of your precious time.
Check out what Matthew K. said after we helped him hire an operations director:
āBest experience I've ever had hiring someone. I fully intend to continue working with Go Carpathian for more of my hiring needs. Incredibly impressed and grateful.ā

At the end of each business day, I call my Recruiting Specialist, who meets with all of our prospective clients.
We recap the day and discuss each potential clientsā needs to see if we can help them.
But what he told me this week shocked meā¦
The Context
This agency was paying something something like $100 per placement to a recruitment agency based out of the Philippines.
For context, many of their competitors charge something like ($6,000 per placement)
They used this agency to hire appointment setters
But the results?
An absolute train wreck
They've fired FIVE people in the last month alone.
For the same exact role.
FIVE PEOPLE.
One. After. Another.
To fill a basic cold-calling role.
Hereās the craziest part, they fired these people because none of them wanted to cold call!
The agency got them candidates, who they hired, who had no interest in cold calling.
Think of how much time was wasted having to fire FIVE people for the same role!
Cheaper isn't always better
I don't want to just dunk on people, but there's a pretty obvious way to prevent this if you're hiring a decent recruiting agencyā¦

How to get the right people in your agency
1. Hire from a country with a history of producing great SDRs. Don't reinvent the wheel here.
In Eastern Europe, Serbia & Macedonia are both great
The US has great SDRs too. You want to hire from cheap college towns if you go the domestic route.
(big hack there)
2. Look for a work history that demonstrates a history of being successful as a cold caller.
Hint: if they're job hopping they're probably not been that successful
3. DO COLD CALL ROLE PLAYS
It blows my mind that people hire cold callers without actually having them... cold call.
Don't know what a good cold call sounds like?
Buy the audiobook of "Cold Calling Sucks (and That's Why It Works)" from Nick Cegelski and Armand Farrokh
No affiliation, but that book is pure gold and the audio version will at least give you an idea of how a good cold call should sound.
Donāt have the time or expertise to implement this strategy?
Look, I get it. Not everyone has time to find qualified candidates, review each resume in-depth, and run role-plays with them.
But if youāre hiring for a role that demands competence and skill, you canāt leave your roles up to chance.

(We are not cheap but that's why our hires don't suck)
We practice what we preach.
Each hire goes through several rounds of role plays, reference checks, and verification to make sure you get the right person without spending all your time doing this yourself.
